Dr. Bhaskar Das is a Tenured Professor of Pharmacological Science and director for Translational Research at LIU. He is an adjunct faculty in the Weill Cornell Medical College, NY, The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA and The Wake Forest School of Medicine, NC. He did his Ph. D in synthetic organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India, and M.Phil from Delhi University. He received his Postdoctoral training experience from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-MA, Harvard Medical School (HMS)-MA, and University of Tennessee-TN
Dr. Das is a dedicated researcher in the field of BORON BRAIN BIOLOGY
He is a reviewer, editor and associate editor on many international journals and also a reviewer of many national (NIH, DOD, AHA, NSF, and many foundations) and international (Romania, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Poland, UAE, and India) funding agencies.
Dr. Das has received the prestigious “Boron in the Americas Award” and many national and international awards. He has been awarded as an International Fellow of the JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science). He is also a recipient of the Research Collaboration award (British Pharmacological Society) the University of Aberdeen and the Young Investigator Award (Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Center excellence)
