Debashish Datta, the other partner of Athena brings more than 40 years of Industrial API R&D involvement mostly heading, API R&D, Process Improvement , intensification & efficiency improvements during the first 25-27 years of his career This was followed by the next 13 years’ experience in techno-commercial function & in that capacity he was entrusted with the responsibility of supporting development initiatives through Sourcing, forging partnership with vendors , Vendor development , contract development of API & intermediates with various CDMO’s i as well as networking both in India, China & Europe as an outsourcing initiative to compliment & supplement internal development effort.

Girij Pal Singh brings more than 30 years of Process R & D experience mostly as the head & leader with deep insight , experience & insight in all aspects of processes of generic APIs & speciality from concept ( evaluation) to commercialization that go up to process life cycle management via route scouting, best route selection ( non-infringing or otherwise ), process Research & development, process optimization as per latest GMP & GLP norm meeting stringent quality requirements both physical & chemical aspects & impurity profiling. Also lead the Cost improvement initiative. He will probably be amongst the top 5 patent holders in the entire space of Industrial R & D in the country.
